This is a point-to-point service that connects customers between two specific points on the Japan side and overseas side with one communication line, and exclusively communicates 24 hours a day. It is deployed in more than 190 countries and regions around the world.
Stable communication is possible at all times, without being affected by line congestion during congestion, such as public network services.
There are no restrictions on the communication media that can be used, so it is possible to use a combination of voice, fax, data, and images. Under certain conditions, connections to other telecommunication lines and non-policyholders can use International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), making it possible to build an economical and efficient network.
KDDI's International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) provides a variety of menus based on the customer's application and communication volume, and in addition, it provides reliable support for the customer's business through close cooperation with overseas telecommunications carriers, from application to line setting and operation and maintenance.
By selecting the optimal transmission speed according to the customer's communication volume and application, it is possible to build a highly efficient and economical international corporate communication network.
Dedicated digital line:
45Mbps, 150Mbps, 2.4Gbps, 10Gbps
Dedicated ultra-high-speed Ethernet line:
155Mbps, 300Mbps, 450Mbps, 620Mbps, 750Mbps, 900Mbps, 1Gbps
To reduce customer procedures for applying for International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), KDDI offers free lump sum payment and lump-sum application on the Japan side. For example, you can apply for a line between Japan and the U.S. as well as a third country line, such as between the U.S. and the U.S.
In order to make use of International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) more economical, we have prepared a fee discount system for the 3-year contract and the 5-year contract. 5% for a three-year contract and 10% for a five-year contract are discounted from the Japan side’s monthly international line charges.
Depending on the number of connecting regions of your International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), all monthly international line charges will be discounted by 5 to 15%. The higher the number of connected regions, the higher the discount rate.
If you use both our domestic and international dedicated line services and have consolidated your billing address, the line charge will be discounted depending on your application. In Japan, the discount rate is 5%. Internationally, the discount rate is 15% or 30% depending on the speed.
A service in which two high-bit links in the same region are fully duplexed across different international regions. Even in the event of a line failure, the line on a different route can be used to continue communication. 10% of monthly international private line charges will be discounted from each line.
One backup line (reserve line) can be used on different routes for each contracted private line in the international section. Even if a failure occurs in the main line, communication can be continued by switching to a backup line configured in advance on a different route. Backup lines can be used at a 40% discount on the regular monthly international private line charge and as an additional charge.
When using International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) in either transmission-only or reception-only transmission direction, monthly international line charges can be discounted by approximately 30% compared to normal bidirectional lines.
This is a service that temporarily switches the Japan-side KDDI dedicated line handling office in the international section to another KDDI dedicated line handling office specified in advance in the event of a failure in customer terminal equipment, etc. In the event of a disaster or failure in the customer’s home, it is possible to continue communication from other communication centers. It is also possible to set up a spare domestic section.
This service switches to other domestic lines set up with the customer in advance when the international dedicated line cannot be used due to a failure in the domestic section. A spare domestic line charge and additional charge are required.
When multiple dedicated international lines are used, this service multiplexes the domestic section into one line. This reduces the cost of domestic lines, shortens lead times when adding lines, and reduces construction costs.
KDDI local staff will provide support in the local language not only for the Japanese side but also for local staff on the overseas side before and after the solution is introduced.
In addition to Japanese contracts, we also accept contracts on the overseas side. We are able to respond to your budget and business structure.
